The holder of this license may do all heating, piping and cooling work as defined in section 20-330 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The requirements to qualify for this license examination shall be two (2) years as a properly licensed journeyperson or equivalent experience and training.

Applicants must submit an application to PSI for pre-approval before testing.

The Business Law exam is also required.

The requirements to qualify for this license examination shall be two (2) years as a properly licensed journeyperson or equivalent experience and training.

The $150.00 initial license fee will be due after the successful completion of the examination.

All heating, cooling & sheet metal work licenses expire yearly on August 31.

The exam is administered by PSI.

It is 80 questions, multiple choice, open-book with a 3 hour time limit. 70% is required to pass.

The Business Law exam is also required.
