Additional Services
The Mississippi Electrician license covers unlimited commercial electrical work. No state level license is required for residential work, only city or county licenses.
To apply, contact the state of Mississippi at 601-354-6161.
The application fee is $400.00 for all classifications (except Residential classifications).
Mississippi will review and approve applications as soon as they are received for testing. Once approved you have 6 months of eligibility and unlimited attempts during that time. After 6 months you must reapply.
Once exams are passed and the application is deemed complete the Board estimates that licenses should be approved and issued in about 7 working days.
