The state of Massachusetts has a reciprocity agreement with Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington and Oregon for the Electrical classifications. Please contact each state for individual requirements.
Massachusetts requires 21 Hours of continuing education on the current National Electrical Code updates every three years for Electricians and System Contractors

The exam is 50 questions, open-book with a two hour time limit
70% is required to pass
Exam topics include Massachusetts Licensing, Estimating and Bidding, Lien Law, Financial Management, Tax Laws, Labor Laws, Project Management, Contracts, Business Organization, Risk Management, Environmental and Safety
