Additional Services
Masonry Contractor means a contractor whose primary business is the installation or brick, concrete block, stone, marble, slate or other units and products common the masonry industry with or without mortar and work incidental to the installation, including the installation of grout, caulking, tuck pointing, sandblasting, mortar washing, parging, cleaning, and welding of reinforcement steel related to masonry construction.

- Prov administers the exam and a score of 70% is required to pass.
- Business and Law is required.
- It is an open book timed test with 50 questions and a 3-hour time limit.
- The exam fee is $51.95 per exam.
- Out of state testing is available for an additional cost (call Prov for locations).

Exam topics include: Estimating and Plan Reading, Concrete Block, Brick, Stone, Glass Block, Mortar, Steel Reinforcement, Insulated Concrete Wall Units and Safety.

American Contractors does not currently offer a preparation class for the Masonry Contractors exam. We do offer the required Business Law Seminar. Please contact us for more information.
