Applications must be completed and sent to the Board with experience documentation, passing exam scores, a current photo and $100 fee.

Kentucky will consider reciprocity on an individual basis.
Only Master Electricians must complete 6 hours of Continuing Education each year in order to renewal their license.

The Kentucky Standard Journeyman Electrician exam is 80 multiple-coice questions, is open-book and has a 4 hour time limit.

The fee is $100.00

The testing company is ICC and administered through PearsonVue.
