Texas HVAC Law and Financial Survival

Upon completion of this 4-hr. course, contractors will have an increased understanding of collection law in Texas, particularly their rights and obligations under the Texas Mechanic’s Lien Law, state and federal fair collection practices laws and the effect that bankruptcy filings have on collection activities and lien rights. 

Students will also increase their familiarity with and confidence in their ability to use basic business and financial concepts and tools that can be employed to navigate through a challenging business and financial climate.  

This course should be taken with the Texas HVAC Contractors Guide to Solar Energy and Green Building course to complete the 8-hr requirement for HVAC license renewal.
